P.J. Lynch, Chartered Quantity Surveyor & Project Manager is a progressive practice providing a range of Quantity Surveying services and if desired a Project Management / Project Co-Ordination service to Clients of the Construction Industry.
The practice is committed to offering a modern and effective service with the emphasis on managing and controlling construction costs so as to provide optimum value and cost certainty.
Our Aim
The practice has a firm focus on delivering first class results within budget and time constraints and the ability to nurture a close working relationship with fellow team members and clients during the life of a project while attaining the highest possible standards in all aspects of professional practice.
Our Methodology
Following appointment, we will meet with the Client and liaise with other members of the Design Team to develop the project, design brief and assist in the preparation and development of a project programme.
The practice will advise on the cost efficiency of materials and construction methods under review and begin immediately to advise on contract administration, contractor selection and cost control.
We will instill cost management discipline to the project by full participation in cost control within the design team.
This ensures the confident and pro-active control of all project costs.

Practice Principal, Chartered Quantity Surveyor
P.J. was educated at DIT Bolton St., Dublin where he attained a first class honours Diploma and subsequently a first class honours Degree from Trinity College, Dublin. P.J. was employed during his Summer holidays from college (1999-2001) as a Site Manager for Sundays Well Properties Limited on a range of large scale housing developments.
After college, in September 2001, P.J. joined Kane Crowe Kavanagh, a Quantity Surveying practice in Tralee, Co. Kerry. Through the wide range of projects being dealt with in their office and continuous consultation with Clients and Design Professionals, P.J. gained a thorough knowledge and a diverse range of Quantity Surveying experience.
Since 2007 P.J. has operated as an independent, freelance Chartered Quantity Surveyor & Project Manager providing pre & post-contract services to clients such as Liebherr Container Cranes and Killarney Hotels Ltd on a range of multi-million euro Industrial factory buildings, offices and five-star hotel extensions and renovations.
P.J. has also provided professional services to many other clients across a wide spectrum of various project types.
P.J. is an Associate of The Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and a Professional Member of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He is also a Certified Mediator of the Mediators Institute of Ireland.
