The Europe Hotel & Resort
The 5 star Europe Hotel & Resort including Spa & Leisure Centre, Fossa, Killarney, Co. Kerry.
Complete renovation of the hotel public spaces of conference areas, wedding function room, lounges, brasserie restaurant, basement facilities including staff canteen, toilets & changing areas measuring approx. 10,000m2.
New two storey in-situ reinforced concrete below ground Leisure Centre & Spa measuring approx. 5,000m2, requiring bored secant piles around 3 sides of its perimeter to support the existing hotel building, a new tunnel into the bedroom wing & a three storey circular steel & concrete stairs to reception.
There were significant external works, terraces, a formal garden & extensive landscaping.

Demolition of existing public spaces of Reception, Bar, Restaurant & basement Kitchens in an Enabling Works contract.
Construction of a two storey over basement approx. 6,000m2 in-situ concrete structure requiring bored concrete piles to support along the existing 4 storey bedroom building.
There were significant external works such as deep drainage, terraces, new carparks, fire access grass roads & extensive landscaping.

Ard na Sidhe Hotel
Ard na Sidhe Hotel, Caragh Lake, Killorglin, Co. Kerry.
Full renovation of this charming, Arts & Crafts house built in 1913.
Structural interventions were required to arrest degradation of the building fabric, as well as forming new spaces to facilitate the modernisation of the hotel.
The works involved retaining and restoring existing materials & steel windows while installing new finishes to complement the traditional appearance.
